Tell us a bit about yourself, *Bloddroppe! How did you get into photography and why?
I've been interested in art since young age. I used to draw a lot during high school, especially realistic portraits. But after a time I felt that I wanted to experiment with other medias. I photographed a lot of nature with a point and shoot camera at first but I felt that I would like to try working with models instead. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do on deviantART?
My name is Shivadeep (better known as Sid), 5” 7, black eyes and wheatish complexion. I am an online marketing professional by my profession however I am also a graphics designer, photographer and web coder. I am a perfectionist, I like to make online friends a lot and I like helping others.
I started as a desktop wallpaper artist in deviantART and now expanded my reach to web coding/designing. Presently, I am mostly occupied on creating customization resources/tutorials for deviants and creating journal/gallery skins. Of humility and prideAround the web I've observed and even talked to some fairly big artists.
And if there's one piece of advice I can give to artists of all skill levels,
it's to-
Stay humble while being proud.
For those of you who think you have reached your best, stop right there.
Their is ALWAYS someone better in their own right.

Don't consider those who are just starting out as "the little people"
and never EVER get offended if someone who you feel is under-skilled offers you a tip.
Perhaps they know a new method or a new way to do something that you have yet to come across.
You'll never know unless you hear them out.
("But I don't have time for that!") All well and good,
if you don't have the time state so politely while still letting them know that if you had a moment,
you would converse artistically with them.

And as far as criticism goes,
I strongly suggest that you do not become so puffed up in the head as to yell at someone

Interview 'User Styles'User Styles are - even though there aren't many contributors - quite popular within dA and are mostly used to optimize a new feature to our own needs. It is pure CSS that modifies the appearance of a website just for you - no one else will see the changes you make.
To be able to use User Styles, you will need a browser extension called Stylish.

*ChrisWoo61 Hi, I’m happily married with two children, and I’m a business manager, helping run a busy wholesale company which I love. I started drawing when I was young around 5 or 6, I drew anything and everything, this carried on until I left school at about 18 by which time I had an interest in portraits and figures. For various reasons I stopped drawing for many years, until around November 2011. Where I found myself with a little time and looking for something to do to relax. Picked up an old set of pencils and paper and drew a portrait (not great). I found it was relaxing and something I really liked more than I thought I would.

I'm `dekorAdum, and my duty at #Urban-and-Rural is to feature submitted artworks. Recently we decided to change the way we do it, and instead of themes & Featured folders, we decided to pick only one Member and make a little interview with them to get to know our members a little more and I'll feature amazing U&R photographers every second week!

First of all, thank you so much ~ZerberuZ for taking time and let me interview you!

#1 When did you start taking Urban & Rural Photos?

I started Urban and Rural photography at the age of 19. At that time I was traveling a lot through old castles and historic buildings, but I had to stop again a few years later, due to work, family and studying. In 2009 i finally had time for my hobby and bought my first Digital SLR.

#2 What kind of equipment do you own for taking photos?

Currently I use a Nikon D200 with a Tamron 10-24mm for most of my urbex pictures, and for street photography I love my old 24-70 F/2.8 Sigma EX lens.
Sometimes I still grab one of my old Nikon Film cameras, just for fun. I just love old stuff

#3 Do you have a favourite Urban & Rural Photographer here on deviantART?

I don't have a favourite one, there are some awesome photographers with different styles and points of view: `getcarter, *Matthias-Haker, =schnotte & :devbrokenchar
just to name a few, I could make a really long list of great Urban photographers here on devianART.

#4 What are your favourites from your own gallery and why?

Favourites of myself ? Oh that's a good question…

I had a real weird feeling while taking this one …

this was one of the coolest explorations I've done so far with some really cool people

my was the first night exploration over rooftops I did with my friends Miisamm and Lupardus-Lu

my favourite street picture .. an old man, drunk in the rain, sitting in front of a travel agency which offers cheap holidays and people passing and don't even care about it.

#5 How or why did you start taking U&R related photos?

After getting my first Digital SLR I restarted with photography but this time I focused more on Urban Exploration. I live close to a lot of abandoned factories and buildings.
In my spare time, I love to walk through the city with my camera to capture the moments of life, it is fascinating to observe random people doing random things and capture a moment in the daily life.
But recently I'm a bit addicted to explore the city during the night.
