Hello there

I'm `dekorAdum, and my duty at #Urban-and-Rural is to feature submitted artworks. Recently we decided to change the way we do it, and instead of themes & Featured folders, we decided to pick only one Member and make a little interview with them to get to know our members a little more and I'll feature amazing U&R photographers every second week!

First of all, thank you so much ~Twitch100 for taking time and let me interview you!

#1 When did you start taking Urban & Rural Photos?

I think i started around 2007, first with images of abandoned places, specially factories and army bases. currently i 'm concentrating on the city of Moscow, and guess it will never get boring.

#2 What kind of equipment do you own for taking photos?

Nothing special, everything is done with a Canon EOS 450d, most of the time a Tamron 28-300mm XD lens and a Manfrotto tripod with ball head (and quite a lot of editing later).

#3 Do you have a favourite Urban & Rural Photographer here on deviantART?

Unfortunately I dont have a favorite photographer, its just too much things to look at, can hardly keep up checking my "deviantwatch".

#4 What are your favourites from your own gallery and why?

I like the image "moscow winter" (but doesnt really fit into the group), it looks like an image from an old film and i love the light in it;

than there is the image "moscow" with hotel ukraina, speciallly the tiny colored lamps in colors of russian flag (and its not national pride, i'm german);

3)

last one maybe another moscow shot, cause the city looks very calm, soft and "golden" .

#5 How or why did you start taking U&R related photos?

I have always been a city person and cant imagine living in a village or the countryside, furthermore the life in big cities is fascinating for me, just not always easy to capture. In addition I'm somehow fond of industrial, modern and constructivist architecture and art.
