Let's address some issues: a project summaryI had a project going on (for dA community) which for a while was really active, I didn't expect this many participants to be honest! I'm very happy, as this is for the community!
First of all, thank you kindly for the following amazing people, who noted me and answered my questions, shared their thoughts and suggestions:
Endorell-Taelos, Eitvys200, pixiepot, zydaria, Sserenita, Scarlett-Aimpyh, Astralseed, PizzaPotatoNBacon, rainylake, Secretwolf29
Shadow-glow, Windklang, CubicInsanity, stuck-in-suburbia, nikkittie, WDWParksGal, dream-shadow, Minakie, iDJPanda, SavageFrog
a-kid-at-heart, Tajii-chan, Stygma, GreenAsDay, nadyabogo, Krissi001, Nameda, Tigles1Artistry, TheGalleryOfEve, Branchewski
sheorun, jennystokes, MayEbony, philippeL and WintersRead
With your experiences in different areas of the deviantART community, all of you helped tremendiously! I tried to summarise what they all
Second Daily DeviationI noticed that I have more messages than usual, when I opened chrome. Without checking them, I scrolled down and was shocked to see my photo in the channels section! My second Daily Deviation.
It's really surreal to me to be honest. I'm truly greatful to Kaz-D and to those who suggested my artwork obviously.
I'm hoping my piece will help others. That was one of my intentions with this photo. First and foremost to share my story with my followers and friends and a reminder for myself. There are days when it's hard to be fully happy about myself. But this photo keeps reminding me how happy I was when I finally accepted myself. It takes time, and it's not easy. But once you are there, you will see how little other people's opinion matter. You should only listen to those who are supporting you and who are indeed caring about you.
Thank you again, it means a lot to me and hopefully it will to others as well!

Let's help each other out!Hi,
This Journal is something I wanted to write many moons ago, and to be honest I did, this is the 7th version, previous ones were deleted. I have troubles writing up journals like this
Everything started when I stepped down as a CV last year. Professional exams were about to come, I had a lot of things to prepare for it - portfolio, exam folder, and lots of shop window designs and all that - and of course we kind of neglected the oral exam part, so I had to study my arse off.
After I have dealth with everything I felt strange, I couldn't find my place on dA - still stuggling with that -. Having nothing to do, becoming a Senior Member and later on Deviousness Award recipient, I still had no clue where I belong to. I tried to come up with ideas, small projects to keep me busy. Many feature series ended because I had no patience to keep them going. I'm aware that everything takes time, but I felt like everything I do is pointless. I never did and will not do anything on this site to
Through-a-Lens: How to SubmitThis is a tutorial to help those who are not familiar with the Group system.
There are many ways to submit your photo into our Group, and we are going to show you them!
Firstly, I would like to ask you to head over to our Submission Guidelines before doing anything!
It is important that you know what the Group Rules are and other important information can be found there!
#1 Submitting from the deviation's page
If you go to your deviation's page, (example: http://deckrohun.deviantart.com/art/elf-471287868) then on the right hand side, a bit down you should see this:
Just click on the + Add to a Group button!
A window should pop up with the following, shown above.
Here you can see the all the options for submitting the deviation into groups.
I marked the one we need, in case it is the first time - or if you don't submit to our group frequently
Photoshop tutorial- PS basics 4I'm back with my journal tutorials for Photoshop. I didn't post any new journal tutorial in a while. Anyway, my previous tutorial you can check here. I'll describe some Photoshop basics for everyone who try to learn to use Photoshop. So in this article you'll find tutorials: Tilt-Shift, Customizing brush 2, Lens Flare, Mask Tool,.
If you wish to see images in full resolution then simply click on the images below (they are big 1920 x 1080 px). I used Photoshop CC here, so some things may be different in lower PS versions. But most of things may be the same in all PS versions. I'll make even more tutorials like this, so stay tuned. And if you like it, then you can fav this article. Thank you and enjoy. I hope it's helpful. More tutorials by me you can see in feature below.
How to render MMD videos like a pro!
The DeviantArt MMD community is notorious for its drama and mini-conflicts. It has also been the one in which I've encountered some of the rudest people on the Internet. However, I have also been rather fortunate in being able to become acquainted with some of the nicest, talented and knowledgeable people I've ever encountered anywhere. Many of these have graced my gallery with their visits, comments, encouragement and attentions. And a few, perhaps some of the most talented, have graciously given me access to hard to get models, exclusive previews of their MMD work and even insights into their methods of doing things.
Occasionally, I am gifted with real gems and this was the case when garmus1 dropped a note in my inbox the other night. Apart from the depth of knowledge that he gives into his methods, he's also given me permission to share that knowledge with the rest of the community.
Now, I know that some of you will have, after reading only

A Guide to TutorialsStock & Resources
So, you want to make an awesome tutorial for your friends, and anybody else who might be interested in your style/techniques/skills/programming/designing ...
There are some essentials you are going to want to keep in mind when you make your tutorial.
Its not just a bunch of text and some pictures (OK it is, but theres more you could do! )
Its not just a few quick tips or pointers for a friend who asked you for some more details (OK it is, but its more than that! )
Its not just some work in progress screenshots/photos of your next big project (OK it is, but its SO MUCH more than that!!)
Don't forget, great design IS ART!
DeviantART is predominantly an English language website. However, DeviantART is a global community, so not everyone can read English fluently. Make sure your use of language i
ReflectionsVal's pursuit led him to the foul beast's domain. The hollowed-out cavern reeked of blood and rancid meat. The dim light he had seen as he charged through the tunnel after the monster could now be identified: torches. Rows of mysteriously lit torches lined the walls of the huge cave. At its center was a substantially large labyrinth of mirrors.
He spotted the beast entering.
He spun his silver broadsword in his hand and hurried in behind it.
His garb was a simple blue and white crusader's leather with thick armored pads and reinforcing steel studs. Lightweight and flexible, but quite effective defense against blunt blows and – in a pinch – the slashing claws of the unholy spawn of the earth. All monster-hunters wore a similar variety in Val's experience. It would serve him well in these close quarters of the mirrored maze.
Right, left, forward, left, right he turned, always catching a glimpse of the beast's tail as he wove his way through the corridors. Every so often he sp
