What is that?
Tabbing is a very nice feature of dAmn. You can direct message a fellow deviant by tabbing them and it will highlight them the message you'd like to send!
If you have SuperdAmn, it's even better, because you can set it how you'll get notified if you get tabbed!
How to do that?
All you have to do is typing in the first 1-2 letters of the deviant's name you'd like to say Hi to them and then push 'TAB' on your keyboard (see pictures below if you can't find it) and then you can type in your message.
It's cool becasue:
it's faster than clicking on the username and then typing it will auto complete the username for you you'll get notified if someone would like to say Hi to you or something

In that you can see all your privclasses. If you click on one, you can see some setting and one of them is Show Notices. By default these are enabled so you don't have to allow it.
But if you meant like a welcome message, you would need a bot what you can command to do that.
I would recommend you try checking out the #Botdom channel, here they can assist you with that.
Other chat stuff:
- If you press the up arrow key, you can go through all of your previous messages that you typed, commands included.
- Press ctrl before clicking enter, and the html will show up. Like a link won't work, or an emoticon, or something like <b>. It's good for letting people copy/paste things.
- <iframe src="http://www.deviantart.com/" width=600 height=400 /> Copy/pasting this will make a browser of the deviantART homepage, 600x400 pixels. You can change the link, and the size.
